HONORPIX Brings QR Code Funeral Photo Sharing and Memorial Slideshows to NFDA Charlotte

Adelaide, Australia - October 7, 2026 / Honorpix /

ADELAIDE, Australia -- GUESTPIX Memorials has relaunched under the name HONORPIX, a remembrance platform that combines funeral photo sharing, memorial slideshows, digital invitations and planning tools for funerals, celebrations of life and memorial services.

HONORPIX is built around a straightforward premise: every photo, video and memory from a person's life should be simple to gather in one place and simple to share with those who knew them. The platform launched simultaneously in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Europe, and will make its US industry debut at the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) International Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina, October 25-28.

HONORPIX is developed and operated by the team behind GUESTPIX, the event photo-sharing company founded by Warwick Groves and Carla Groves in 2022. GUESTPIX introduced QR code photo sharing for weddings and events and has since hosted more than 220,000 events worldwide. As funerals and memorials became an increasing share of that volume, the founders determined that bereaved families required a product built specifically for their circumstances rather than a wedding tool repurposed for the occasion.

"Families using GUESTPIX at a funeral had very different needs from a wedding or birthday crowd," said Warwick Groves, co-founder and CEO. "They were gathering decades of photos from relatives in a matter of days while grieving. HONORPIX is the same proven technology, rebuilt around that experience."

A Platform Designed Around the Memorial Experience

Central to HONORPIX is QR code funeral photo sharing. Attendees scan a code at the service or receive it alongside the funeral invitation, then upload photos and videos directly from their phones without downloading an app. Contributions flow into a private memorial photo gallery that the family can curate, share and retain.

Because memorial photo sharing can begin before the service takes place, families and funeral directors can draw on contributed images to build a funeral slideshow rather than pursuing relatives for photos during the arrangement process. Paid gallery tiers include a downloadable video memorial slideshow suitable for display at the service or distribution afterward.

HONORPIX is free to start. The free tier includes digital funeral invitations and editable design templates, with paid gallery upgrades adding capabilities such as the slideshow download. Families can also access a free Celebration of Life Planner at honorpix.com/celebration-of-life-planner/, a step-by-step guide to organising a memorial event.

Working With Funeral Professionals

For funeral homes, HONORPIX is designed to reduce the coordination burden during the arrangement process. Instead of staff collecting photos from multiple family members individually, the funeral director shares a single HONORPIX link and the family and their guests contribute directly to the funeral photo collection. Funeral homes can offer HONORPIX to client families at no cost, with paid gallery upgrades available to those who want additional features such as the memorial slideshow download.

The NFDA Convention, one of the largest annual gatherings of funeral service professionals in North America, will be the first opportunity for US funeral directors to see HONORPIX in person. Carla Groves, co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer, and Caroline Carson, Head of Partnerships, will attend on behalf of HONORPIX.

"Funeral directors told us the hardest part of a modern service is often the photos," said Carla Groves. "We want to take that off their desk entirely."

The full suite of HONORPIX features, including the free celebration of life planner and QR-based funeral photo collection tools, is available at honorpix.com.
